Time to Put on the Summer Skin

O Summer! Long days - and longer nights. I turned down a figurative cornucopia of summer ideas - camps, Beit Medrash programs, Ethiopia trips that went sour, internships, etc - for the blessing of three months free time. That blessing, however, quickly turns curse if its not used appropriately. The path is before me, yet littered with dastardly destroyers: amusing magazines, afternoon naps, and the gravest fiend of them all - an endless stream of email.

I need your help. I need your encouragement. I need this opportunity to write about myself.

hi ben! long time no speak.
actually, summer nights are shorter than days.
umm, you might want to consider going through the RAL books- an article a day should just about do it. in general, i think the 'x a day' (book [chapter]s, exercise, writing) approach works fairly well, as it keeps you disciplined.

Great idea! (Also, long time no speak. Also, longer in terms of quantity or quality, Mr. Brisker!)

Is there a RAL equivalent to the R. Amital book they just put out? Quotes, snippets, key paragraphs to know and enjoy? Are they working on this?
